The room was massive and super clean 🧼. The staff here were friendly and really helpful, which made our stay even better.

This apartment was a great place for exploring most of Colchester's popular places. I really enjoyed having a fridge, an electric kettle, and a microwave oven.

The apartment at Apple Tree Lodges was absolutely mind-blowing! The furnishings were of top-notch quality and the spaciousness left us jaw-dropped. The bedroom and living room were super spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The heating worked well and the outside balcony, although we couldn't use it, seemed like a LOVELY place to relax. The location was perfect for visiting nearby attractions. The staff were friendly and efficiently dealt with all our requests. The room was well-appointed and spotlessly clean. The only potential downside was parking and noise from inconsiderate neighbors, but that's not the fault of the accommodation. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it for anyone visiting the area.

It was great in general: huge room, amazing location next to the golf course, and the fields. I appreciated that the staff were helpful. I could use a refrigerator, an electric kettle and a microwave, free Wi-Fi. Big bonus was a bathtub and lovely bathroom;)))

We loved the spaciousness of the lodge, with a large bedroom and living room. The quality furnishings were impressive, and the bed was very comfortable. The location was perfect for visiting nearby towns and villages like Dedham, Flatford, Sudbury, and Lavenham. The peaceful and relaxing setting was just what we needed.

We felt that the lodge was secure and had no complaints.

I had an incredible stay at Apple Tree Lodges. The spacious and sunny rooms provided a beautiful atmosphere, and the stunning grounds with wildlife made it even more delightful. Although I booked last minute, the staff were extremely helpful in accommodating us. Access to the clubhouse for food and drinks was a great bonus. I highly recommend this hidden gem.

The lack of a fully functional TV, as it was locked into hospitality mode and couldn't access streaming services like Netflix. Additionally, I would have appreciated some basic cleaning supplies like a sponge and washing up liquid for self-catering purposes.

The lodge we stayed in was spacious and luxurious, with stunning views and a balcony. The living space was enormous and the bed was really comfy. The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive, making check-in easy. We were provided with plenty of information on the amenities and activities in the area, which was really helpful. The location was peaceful and the facilities were excellent for a self-catering stay.

There were a few issues during our stay, such as doors that slammed shut and heating that wasn't working properly. The TV remote also didn't work, which was a bit frustrating.

The views from the lodge and the spacious deck were excellent, and I enjoyed sitting there and taking in the beautiful surroundings. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I had a great time and would happily recommend this lodge to others.

There were a couple of drawbacks. The hobs in the kitchen didn't work unless set at a high heat, which was a bit disappointing.
